I use Tree DoctoRx quarterly to fertilize my olive trees. They have also pruned trees for me. They use a natural organic fertilizer that works really well. The experience has been wonderful. They were referred to me. They were very friendly and always showed up on time. They cleaned up after themselves and did a good job. They really know trees. Got holes in your tree?
A myriad of insects, often beetles or clear wing moths, have a larval form that chew wood. Some feed deeply within the tree while others feed just below the bark. Once larvae become adults, they chew out of the tree. We usually see the exit holes and not the critter that caused it. Once our Tree Dr. defines the species of tree we can generally narrow the possibilities to the usual suspects and how to treat
